About
The educator behind the Vitality Life Map™.
You should feel understood here before you ever learn who built this. When you’re ready, here’s the person, and the story, behind the work.
Where this came from
A phone call at the gate.
In October of 2017 I answered my phone as I was boarding a flight home, and heard a doctor say the words stage 2 breast cancer. I hung up and sat down in my seat in total disbelief.
As I watched the flight attendant close and lock that cabin door, the disbelief turned into a cold, paralyzing fear. And the loudest thought in my head wasn’t about my own mortality. It was: how am I going to tell my 12-year-old daughter about the diagnosis? I was raising her on my own. There was no one else to carry that conversation, or anything that came after it. I spent the rest of that flight asking why me.
As we touched down, a quieter voice took the mic. It had stopped asking why me. It asked, what now?
What now became a lifeline.
I want to be honest about what came after, because a story about staying vital through treatment can sound like it was graceful. It wasn’t. Day three after each of the eight chemo treatments was as dark as anything I’ve lived through. I felt so sick that I was sure I couldn’t do it again.
To get through it I had to stop looking for a way out and start looking for a way forward. I would lie there and whisper into the dark: what now? Some days what now meant one more breath. Some days it meant a sip of water. That was enough, because the question accepts an answer of any size.
That’s what moved me from being a victim of my circumstances to the CEO of my own recovery. It’s now the What Now? Method™, and it’s in every program I teach.
Eight years on, I’m cancer-free, and I’m still a little blown away by that.
Why I do what I do.
For years before any of that, I chased success while neglecting the thing that makes success sustainable. I juggled work, family and my own ambitions and felt stretched too thin the whole time. What I eventually worked out was that the missing piece was never more effort. It was a better system.
Today I help high-performing women navigate changing health with practical, science-informed systems that restore energy and support the life they’ve already built. I’m not the source of the science. I’m the one who’s done the research and lived the proof, and who filters it down to what you actually need to know and do next. I walk alongside you the way I wish someone had walked alongside me.

What I hold to
Two things, and I mean both of them.
It has to last past the program. If what you build with me falls apart the week after it ends, it didn’t work. Everything is designed for the life you’re actually living, not a version of it with more time in it.
It has to be grounded in evidence. There’s a great deal of confident nonsense in this industry. I teach what the current science supports, I tell you where it’s uncertain, and I don’t dress up an opinion as a finding.
Why she is qualified to lead
Education is the discipline.
My authority is the layer you discover second. It’s why the education holds up, and it belongs behind the work rather than in front of it.
I also contributed a chapter to She Grows Stronger, published in 2025. Mine is called “Why Me, What Now.”
If any of this feels familiar, you’re in the right place.
